Great news about Microsoft's conference

  • Especially for "Minecraft" fans, there was great news at Microsoft's E3-2017 press conference: At the games fair, the Redmonder announced that Xbox-One players will play the monumental performance in the future with the competition. Will be: together and online with PC, VR and Nintendo switch colleagues Rocket League Crates. The crossplay feature is still rare in the console world - the more pleasing is the confirmation of the Xbox faction. All the more saddening for this: The PlayStation 4 is not on board - which quickly caused a huge resentment among Sony-Zockern. For this reason, the US side turned Eurogamer asking for a reason to Sony's sales and marketing boss Jim Ryan - got questions but only spurious answers.

So Ryan claims that you have nothing against crossplay, but in this case you have certain obligations to the other stakeholders. Much of The "Minecraft" community is also very young and is afraid of "external influences" that can not be controlled. When asked if you would think about future cross-play with Sony, Ryan answered: "As far as I know, there is currently no ongoing talk about it." Whether these responses will make PlayStation 4 players happy? That is to be doubted. The complete interview between Eurogamer and Ryan can be found here.
